Dice Roller Guide

The Dice Roller is a floating panel available while you work in campaign tabs.

When to Use​

  • quick checks without leaving your current tab
  • mixed dice pools with repeatable modifier patterns
  • private DM rolls during live adjudication

When Not to Use​

  • permanent logging of official session outcomes
  • full rules-engine automation expectations
  • replacing initiative or encounter state tracking

Dice Selection​

  • left click to add dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12, d20
  • right click die button to remove that die type
  • quick shortcuts for common rolls (for example 1d20, 2d6, 1d8, d%)

Modifiers and Privacy​

  • flat modifier input
  • apply modifier per die toggle
  • secret roll toggle (DM-only visibility workflows)

Roll Output​

  • total result
  • breakdown by die
  • roll history
  • clear history control

Personalization​

  • color picker
  • dice theme selector

Common Workflow​

  1. Build the dice pool.
  2. Add modifier and privacy options.
  3. Roll and read breakdown.
